Carrie and her friends are at lunch and they are advising her what to do with Sebastian. Maggie says she needs to make more time for Sebastian and get on with the boning already. They diss the predatory Donna some more and Walt sits there and looks uncomfortable. Later Carrie placates poor Maggie by saying she is sure that Walt really is waiting for the right time to slip it in.

Thomas fixes a horse race, provoking the ire of local kingpin Billy Kimber. He also starts a war with a gypsy family called the Lees. Meanwhile, Inspector Campbell carries out a vicious raid of Small Heath in search of the stolen guns.

The Peaky Blinders gang head to the fair, but make a stop first. Thomas Shelby gets a horse from Johnny Dogs in exchange for Johnny riding in the family car. The three Shelby brothers, Thomas, John, and Arthur Shelby, get into a fight with the Lee family after they call their mother a \"Diddicoy whore.\"

Inspector Campbell trashes homes while the Peaky Blinders gang are away at the races, making it seem like they allowed the police to perform such vile acts. Freddie Thorne escapes from his home with Ada Shelby before the police catch him, but at his home they find a medical prescription paper with Ada's name written on it.

Monaghan Boy finally loses in the races, and Thomas uses all of the won betting money to buy their popularity back from the people of Birmingham. Polly yells at him for fixing the race without the permission of Billy Kimber.

Billy Kimber enters the Garrison with his assistant Roberts and has a tense meeting with Thomas, John, and Arthur. Thomas proposes to work with Kimber in order to beat the Lee family, and Billy Kimber agrees. Roberts tells Thomas that they will be at the Cheltenham races.

Comedy panel show hosted by Angus Deayton with team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack. Team mates must remain poker-faced while revealing personal stories previously known only to their closest confidantes, being put through their paces in a quick-fire lies round, and explaining their real or invented relationship with a mystery studio guest - all with the ultimate aim of discerning the truth from the fiction. Guests include Natalie Cassidy, Duncan Bannatyne, Dom Joly and Frankie Boyle.

Inspector Campbell receives an angry phone call from Winston Churchill, who got word of the publication mentioning the bonfire. Campbell realizes he needs to fix this fast and seeks out Polly, telling her Tommy needs to meet with him ASAP. Polly and Tommy, meanwhile, are duking it out because Tommy is putting the gang in danger by fixing races and going behind the back of another kingpin, Billy Kimber, whose men are more pretentious but just as venomous as the Blinders.

What to expect next episode: The horse races are finally underway and Tommy will use the opportunity to do business with the notorious Kimber clan.
